Xactly and OpenSymmetry’s Study Finds Incentive Compensation Errors Costing Enterprise Companies Millions

In a sales compensation survey co-sponsored by OpenSymmetry and Xactly, it was found that out that for the 200+ companies polled across varying industries, 83 percent of organizations have payment inaccuracies. Though the average spend on sales compensation is 10 percent, the average error rate is higher than five percent. For enterprise companies with revenues upwards of $100 million, a five percent error rate in sales compensation payouts would net out to millions of dollars.
