OpenSymmetry Holds Joint Event with Anaplan in Singapore

We held a joint event with Anaplan and Hewlett-Packard in Singapore on 8 October 2014 at Singapore’s Pan Pacific Hotel. The breakfast roundtable had an elite group of sales leaders from technology companies discussing the challenges around talent retention for sales organizations in the APAC Region and how to mitigate those issues for 2015.
While I spoke on the topic of ‘Sales Performance Management as Your Competitive Advantage’, David Padgett, APAC Vice President of Anaplan Asia, shared insight on optimizing the planning process which is particularly relevant for managers who have large sales teams. Wrapping up the event was Tony Alizzi, Director of APJ Sales Compensation Operations, Hewlett-Packard Company, presenting how to take a strategy and turn it into a success with a case study on how they have revolutionized their Sales Operations to help retain talent and out perform.
I always enjoy these roundtables as it gives me a chance to learn the daily challenges of leaders and organizations, as well as understand what “keeps them up at night.” One concern that continues to arise is retaining top talent for sales organization. Companies are looking for solutions to ensure they can retain their top sales performers, as well as, alleviate their next tier of talent. We hope that all our combined sharing provided some insight to the attendees on how they can address this issue.
