Based in London, UK, and Austin, Texas, OpenSymmetry is the only independent consulting company with a global network of highly skilled consultants dedicated to SPM. As a senior member of OpenSymmetry's Professional Services organization in EMEA, the SPM Compensation Consultant is responsible for working with clients to help them analyse, improve and automate their variable compensation payment processes. In this position you will utilize your knowledge and experience in compensation plan design and implementation in an on-site, client facing role.

Responsibilities Include

  • Work closely with customers to document their organisational structures and variable compensation practices
  • Analyse and review compensation plans and elements that drive payee credit allocation, bonus allocation and payment
  • Provide recommendations to improve variable compensation practices
  • Implement new compensation plan structures and rules using a selected leading edge SPM product that will automate the process of variable compensation for the client's sales force
  • Provide input as required in OpenSymmetry pre-sales activities
  • Participate in the training of junior OpenSymmetry Compensation Consultants
Required Skills
  • A good degree in a numerate discipline
  • At least 3 years experience as a Compensation Analyst for mid-sized to large company
  • Excellent knowledge of variable compensation, preferably for a mid-sized to large sales organisation
  • Direct experience managing variable compensated employees
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 100% dependant on project needs
  • The right to live and work in the EU
